Nigerian Teacher jailed for sexually assaulting female student

An Egor Magistrates’ Court in Benin on Wednesday sentenced Rotimi Olayemi a 45-year-old teacher and father of three, to one-year imprisonment for sexually assaulting a 13-year-old female student of his school.

The Prosecutor, Mrs Osasu Ewemade, told the court that Olayemi committed the crime on May 26, 2014 in his office at King of Kings College Benin.

She said that the convict was in the habit of inviting his victims to his office where he would hug, kiss and fondle them inappropriately.
