Security had been intensified in Badagry area of Lagos State over reports that militants had fled to the area.

This was because of reports that militants from Arepo area of Ogun had fled to Badagry due to the aerial bombardment of their camps by Air Force personnel.

Checks carried out by NAN around the town showed that security agencies have been deployed in strategic areas.
