Faridah Demola Seriki a.k.a Kah-Lo

Another Nigerian artise Faridah Demola Seriki a.k.a Kah-Lo has been nominated for the 2017 Grammy Awards.

The young Kah-Lo is the daughter of the All Progressives Congress (APC) chieftain in Lagos State, Chief Demola Seriki. Seriki was also a former minister of Defence.

Kah-Lo recieved nomination for Best Dance Recording “Rinse n Repeat” – Riton featuring Kah-Lo. The song ‘Rinse and repeat’ released in 2016, has been streamed 5 million times on Spotify.It has also been played 1.5 million times on YouTube couple of weeks after it was released.

The nominee, an alumna of Vivian Fowler Memorial College Lagos and Hofstra Journalism in the United States of America, took to her Instagram account to express her joy when she shared  photo of the nomination with the caption: “Oluwa did it! Riton has all the swag sauce.
Wizkid has been nominated for the Rap album of the year for his contribution in Drake’s ‘Views’ album.
